Hoopla Loans always work within very strict guidelines to keep your personal information safe and secure, and protected from fraudsters. We would like to advise you of the serious potential scams that fraudsters could do to try commit fraud against you. Please always be extremely alert of potential fraudsters and ensure that you always take necessary precautions to protect yourself.

• Never send or pay money to a company or person if you don't remember previously applying with them.
• Never give out any of your personal information if you cannot identify the person or company contacting you.

Our service is 100% FREE. Hoopla Loans will NEVER ask you for ANY fees whatsoever. (An exception to this: Some lenders or brokers that we work with may charge you a loan admin fee. They will always pre-advise you before you agree to proceed, or you will be advised of this on our website during your application process).

CopyCat or Clone firms

This is when a fraudster pretends to be Hoopla Loans and makes contact with you demanding that you pay money upfront to them to get your loan paid out to you. If you have not applied directly with us before (on our website) and you receive an email, SMS or phone call from someone claiming to be from Hoopla Loans, then this is a SCAM. These types of fraudsters often create fake loan agreement documents and funding certificates to give the impression that your application has been fully approved. Often they advise that you have been approved for a very large sum of money. They then ask you to pay a fee/money into their bank account in order to get your loan paid out.

If you ever receive any sms's, emails, letters, or phone calls from anyone claiming to be from Hoopla Loans stating that your loan has been fully approved, and asking you to pay money before the loan is paid to you, please IMMEDIATELY report this to us, as well as www.scambuster.co.za
